Character profiles
Jenny.

A skinny 18 year old, she is a quiet girl from a small New England town. She is pretty but keeps everything simple and looks like the girl next door type, her best friend is a girl called Kat who is quite the opposite to Jenny in every way however they've been friends since they were very young and love each other very much.
She doesn't really have much going for her in life, her mother died giving birth to her and has to take on 3 jobs to keep her father from losing the house, she doesn't have enough money for new clothes so people think she is a little weird and tease her, however she isn't the type to care what others think about her and always looks on bright side and stays strong for her dad.
She secretly has a soft spot for Jason even though he gets under her skin easily and are always argueing but he is dating her best friend.
Jason.

19 years old, he is the popular guy who everyone loves. He's the clown who's always hyper and smiling he dates Kat, the most popular girl in school. His ego is bigger than his head though deep down he has much more to him than just his looks. He's had a crush on Jenny since they were young however to keep up appearances he stays with his beautiful girlfriend Kat, who is only dating him to boost her own popularity as she's not very liked but if she is seen with someone people love she thinks it will make her more beloved. He enjoys teasing Jenny because when she's angry is the only time he can get her attention.
His fathers very rich and he's stuck in the middle on an unhappy marriage which makes him lash out on others, his father won't leave his mother though because she's threatened to sue him for all his money. His mothers an ex- model who got fired as she became too old and turned to the bottle and became a drug abuser and his father spends all his time gambling and spending his money on cheap whores.
Kat.

17 Years old. She's very into the girly role, she loves everything to do with clothes and makeup and will do just about anything to keep her status as the most popular girl in school, which mainly comes from pure fear of her rather than respect. She is very self centred around most people, but when it comes to her best friends Jenny and Lizzie there is nothing she wouldn't do for her. She always wears fashionable clothing that shows off a little too much of her figure but is too popular to be criticised by others. She has a large family but is the only girl with 8 brothers which has toughened her up over the years so she doesn't take crap from anyone. She's dating Jason but suspects he and Jenny have a thing for each other which makes her a little jealous of her best friend and a little over-protective as she doesn't want to become less popular.
Sam.

18 years old. Samn is a very shy boy who doesn't real talk to many people at school. He's a handsome guy with a heart of gold, He's best friends with Jenny and Kat even though they havn't known him as long but they're all still close. He's an only child which makes him occasionaly lonely and seeing as Jenny has so many jobs and a family to take care of he spends most of his free time with Kat.
He has a long distance relationship with his girlfriend Delilah but gets the occasional weekend away but sometimes stays around to go camping with his friends.

The Movie - Short.
This is a rough idea of what is going to happen within these 2 minutes, it includes a rough script, a few camera shots and direction.
[The story is a take on classic horror, it is set in the woods with a group of teenagers who get picked off one after another. However, rather than having a normal werewolf/monster scenario the reason why they’re disapearing is that they’re being “vanished away” by a demon shaped as a little girl to lure the teenagers away.]
A group of teenagers are walking in a large wood.
The camera appears to be looking through someone's eyes who is following them, hiding behind trees, walking slowly.
You can maybe hear slight breathing so you know theres someone there.
This is to resemble two things to confuse and trick the audience, it appears to be some form of monster or bad guy however the camera cuts to the group talking.
Kat - "So... shall we rest here for the night then?"
Jenny- "what here? but were in the middle of knowhere! there could be wild animals around or something."
The group laugh.
Character 2- "Well what did you think camping was?"
Jenny looks around, she starts to disconnect from the conversation.
Jenny hangs back a few metres whilst the others put down there things, there conversation becomes background noise as she looks around worried.
[Character 4- "She'll get used to it."]
Kat - "Here then?"]
[Character 2- "yeah sure, it's gonna get dark soon."]
The camera cuts back to the person watching them.. They move slowly up behind Jenny, the camera closing in whilst creepy music is playing. The person grabs Jenny suddenly, you only see the arms as it's viewing from the eye. The music cuts off.
She turns around relieved to see it was her friend but turns on him in anger and hits him.
"What the hell was that for?!... jerk."
He replies with "HAHAHA! oh god Jenny, chill, I was only messing with ya!"
"But still! I wish I never came on this damn trip."
Kat sees the two arguing and cuts in the conversation.
Kat- Jason! There you are sweetie! will you please help me find some wood for the fire with the others? Give jenny time to calm down, yano?"
Jason looks at Jenny and walks off with the group, leaving Jenny alone. She sits down on a log, folded chair floor etc. (depends what we can find.)
The camera shows the group walking away, talking and laughing then views jenny sat, looking at the floor in bordem. The voices of her friends fade and there is complete silence.
Suddenly there is the cracking sound of a twig. She turns her head to the direction then hears more twigs cracking coming from the opposite direction, she turns again whilst getting up, she looks around quickly and grabs a large stick off the floor. She catches a shadow running in corner of her eyes and faces it. Theres nothing there again.
Jenny- "This isn't funny guys! STOP IT!."
She hears a girl giggling from behind her. She turns and sees a shadowed figure pearing from behind a tree. She stares at it, unable to move.
Her friends returning from getting wood breaks her concentration, they're still deep in conversation.
Kat looks at Jenny and runs over and places her hand on Jenny.
Kat - "Jenny!? what's wrong? are you ok? You're so pale..."
The group stop talking and look at her.
Jenny -"You.. You.. came from.. over there... it can't have been you who.."
Kat - "Who what?"
Jenny turns to look behind her once more.
Jenny - "Someone was there.."
Kat looks up slowly to where jenny is looking, (The camera turns slowly with her and shows the empty darkness) nothing is there. The movie cuts off.

The 15 Certificate
BBFC classification covering films aimed at teenagers
The 15 certificate was introduced by the British Board of Film Censors on 1 November 1982, following an overhaul of its classifications as recommended by the Williams Committee. It is currently defined as follows:
Passed only for persons of fifteen years and over. No person apparently under the age of 15 years shall be admitted to any exhibition at which there is to be shown any film which has received a '15' certificate from the British Board of Film Classification.
It was a direct replacement for the AA certificate, the only difference being that the age limit was raised from fourteen to fifteen. In 1985, following the recommendations of the 1984 Video Recordings Act, the 15 certificate was extended to cover video releases.
While the increased age limit allowed the BBFC to be more lenient with regard to classifying certain films, it became clear towards the end of the 1980s that an additional classification was needed between 15 and PG, as Hollywood in particular was producing an increasing number of films aimed specifically at young teenagers. Since these films were considered too strong for a PG, they were usually given a 15 certificate, thus preventing their natural audience from seeing them.
As a result of increasingly public debate over this issue, the BBFC introduced the 12 certificate in 1989.
The BBFC permits the following within the bounds of the 15 certificate:
Theme: No theme is prohibited, provided the treatment is appropriate to 15 year olds.Language: There may be frequent use of strong language; the strongest terms are only rarely acceptable. Continued aggressive use of strong language and sexual abuse is unacceptable.Nudity: There are no constraints on nudity in a non-sexual or educational context.Sex: Sexual activity and nudity may be portrayed but without strong detail. The depiction of casual sex should be handled responsibly. There may be occasional strong verbal references to sexual behaviour.Violence: Violence may be strong but may not dwell on the infliction of pain, and of injuries. Scenes of sexual violence must be discreet and brief.Imitable techniques: Dangerous combat techniques such as ear claps, head-butts and blows to the neck are unlikely to be acceptable. There may be no emphasis on the use of easily accessible lethal weapons (in particular, knives).Horror: Sustained or detailed infliction of pain or injury is unacceptable.Drugs: Drug taking may be shown but clear instructive detail is unacceptable. The film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug use.

Shrooms opening scene , camera shots and synopsis
The film opens with a woman running through the woods , as this happens the camera is following her on a track. After this it shows an extreme close up of a bucket of blood that has been spilt. Then it cuts back to the woman running showing a close up of her feet following by a pan following her as she runs. The film then continues to flick through close ups of disturbing pictures such as maggots , knives , a blood covered hand and a bag covering a persons head. At the opening and closing part of the scene their are some titles , the titles are a basic white bold font on a black background, despite being very basic the titles are very striking due to the contrast of the white on black . The opening scene also has elements of torture , this could lead to an 18 certificate. The woman that is running is wearing casual clothes ; jeans , shirt and a jacket.Other mysterious characters shown as the film is cutting from scene to scene are all wearing a dark , Gothic and more horrific clothing . As she runs it gives the impression that she is running from something as you see the fear on her face. The setting is in a woods round autumn time as the leaves have fallen. There is an immediate impression that the film will be in the horror genre this is because it is set at night , there continues greys, blacks , greens and whites , this adds to the spooky feel as their is no colour. A large building is shown at the beginning , it looks like an old abandoned mental hospital . As this is the first thing shown it may be used continuously through the film as the scene is usually established at the beginning. although Shrooms is similar to our film it has a certificate of 18 , his is due to bloody violence. The film was also distributed by Vertigo Films (UK) , these could be a possible company to distribute our film.Shrooms didn't make much impact at the UK box office grossing a mere £300,000. The film may have been unsuccessful because of its low budget and lack of well known actors , this could be something to take into consideration when our film is being made.
Shrooms
Shrooms is a 2007 horror film about a group of American students and their Irish guide who are stalked by a serial killer while out in the woods looking for psilocybin mushrooms. the opening scene shows a girl running through the woods , which is similar to our film . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNUrzDDaz8s
regarding the certificate
Our film will be given the 15 certificate because it will contain scenes of bloody violence and maybe strong language. The film will not contain hard drug use and sex scenes so will not be given an 18 certificate.

Horror movie age rating info
Horror movie will probably have blood & gore and scenes of a sexual nature. If we choose to do vampires they're percieved as sexual creatures through neck biting and the sucking of blood can be sexual and, or violent. Vampires may provide sexual arousal or stimulation for the audience. Also if not a vampire film it's a horror and will still be scary with scenes of violence and not suitable for young audiences so it should be a 18 rather than a 15 as we can't predict right now how scary it will turn out.
BANNER
Produced a banner, The blue ominous glow makes it look more appealing rather than just plain simple text and looks more like a horror style, also the woods in the background is from my own photo so it is completely legal.
FILM TITLE IDEAS
"Your lifes mine."
"Innocence".
"LOST." (EDIT: This may be confusing as there's a series called Lost.)
"Mary, mary."
"No way back." or "No way out."
"Head forwards."
"Demoschilla woods."
I prefer Innocence. It's catchy and not cheesy.

IDEAS
Idea 1.
My idea for the plot is for someone (preferably a innocent looking girl) to be running through some dark woods and keeps checking behind her as if somehting is chasing her, she's not looking where she's going as shes looking behind her and runs into one of her friends (should be a tall sinister looking male) whos shadowed and he grabs her n pulls into him as if hugging her she looks up and she sees it's someone familiar and looks relieved, not knowing that really he's the killer. He takes her into a big scary abonded house in the middle of the woods as theres no way they can get out of the woods before the sun sets. In the house is where he comes up with ways of killing her like poisoning her tea but she doesnt drink it or trying to kill her in her sleep.
Idea 2.
The same as before just instead of one killer her group of friends are part of a cult whos brains have been tampered with and they've become insane and are trying to kill her because she didn't want to join in. If you want a monster plot though it can easily be changed to vampires this way.
Idea 3.
A group of friends are in the woods together theyre laughing some are messing around and picking on one of the girls, the girl gets panicky and suspects there's something in the woods other than her and her friends, she laugh it off as one tells her it will be a wild animal or something and to stop being a wuss. The group decide to take a rest and settle camp for the night, the group decide to play a trick on the girl and go off to get fire wood whilst running around in dark making noises and screaming as if something got them. She tells them to stop messing around and everything goes quiet.. theres a crack from behind her and she turns to see a shawoy figure staring at her from behind a tree, she stares back as she does so she quickly turns back around to the sound of her friends laughing coming back in the opposite direction to the shadowed figure. They tease her a little and the girl is confused and says something was behind her and if it wasn't them, who was it...

INTRODUCTION
Hiya, We have started this blog late and well into the course due to complication with our group so me and Todd have decided it will be better for everyone if we create our own work.
However, As I came up with the story and the title I have chosen to use them but have left Group 4 with the house as the house was there idea and have added more to it.
We shall post all of our previous work and catch up with the roles our previous group members were in charge of.
